We are committed to building the church upon the foundation of God’s Word. When we searched the Scriptures, we found several basic requirements for a local church. We simply focus on these basics. Our vision is reflected in our name:
The gospel is the power of God for salvation. We strive to preach Christ and Him crucified. We hold to a high view of God’s sovereignty and the sufficiency of Scripture. We see Jesus as the theme of the Bible; our only hope for justification, sanctification, and glorification. Our passion for the gospel moves us toward mission as we declare God’s goodness throughout our community and the world.
We believe the gospel is best applied and practiced in community. The ministry of our church flows through home-based fellowship. These “Gospel Communities” meet weekly to eat, worship, pray, and study God’s Word together. We routinely revisit the previous week’s sermon with a focus on obedience and accountability. Gospel Communities are the driving force of the church’s ministry where believers practice their spiritual gifts, serve one another, and engage in outreach.
All the believers fellowshipping in Gospel Communities gather together weekly to worship God through music, preaching, giving, praying, and the Lord’s Table. We believe God has established preaching the Word as one of His primary means for making disciples. We look forward to celebrating God’s goodness weekly with our faith family. We hope that our worship services encourage those who do not yet believe to see the kindness of God toward sinners and turn to Him in repentance and faith.
