Philippians 1:19–30 – Glorifying God in Suffering and in Steadfastness

Philippians is a thank you letter from Paul to the church at Philippi expressing his deep gratitude for their partnership in the gospel of Jesus Christ, even under stressful circumstances. In this sermon from Philippians 1:19–30, Dr. Andrew White examines Paul’s attitude as he suffers for the sake of Christ. Christians should have be like-minded in their purpose to glorify God in life and in death. For us, to live is Christ and to die is gain. Living for Jesus means living a life that adorns the gospel of Jesus, standing firm in our faith, and striving together for the faith of the gospel.
