We have embarked upon a new sermon series called “The Gospel Made Visible,” where we will study the necessities of a biblical church. In the third sermon in our series, Dr. Andrew White uses the first Christian church, described in Acts 2:42–47, as a model for a healthy and biblical church. The new church was marked by awe and expectation, they were united, they practiced radical generosity, they worshiped together regularly, and they enjoyed radical hospitality. All this attracted unregenerate people. All these characteristics should be true of our church as well.
